The room was perfect. Super clean and is great to have your own pool. The hotel was very peaceful and close to the airport and all the shops and restaurants. It was the best stay we had in Thailand during our trip. The breakfast at Sexy fish was the best we had in Thailand. With variety every day and a good selection of western food. I will definitely come back.
The beach is beautiful but the tide is too low in the morning to be able to swim.

We stayed in a garden pool villa room. The room was stunning and the pool was lovely to have. The decor is very modern and superbly set out. The staff were incredibly nice, friendly and professional. The location is really lovely and the breakfast choice is extensive. The grounds on the beach side of the properly are well kept. We were very happy with the kind gestures given for our anniversary. The views from breakfast on the beach side are stunning.
The area where our room was situated was accessed by walking through an area where scheduled maintenance was taking place which was not revealed at the time of booking or indeed at check in. There was a lot of mess on the floor which we had to walk through (chipped and flaked off paint and plaster) and a strong smell of paint. Our room could not be accessed any other way than passing through this area. I think this was disappointing given we paid over £200 per night and the hotel was by no means fully booked. In fact we were told by staff that it was half empty. The private pool needed to be cleaned every day due to overhanging trees which is completely understandable. We had to specifically request this every day which should have been done as a matter of course because without the cleaning, the pool was unusable due to the number of large leaves and bugs in the pool. There was also maintenance going on out of the back of our pool area which was noisy again this was not disclosed at the time of booking or upon check in. Our room was not properly cleaned each day with lipstick left on a wine glass from the night before and the bath was not properly cleaned each day. Upon arrival we had a lizard in our room which was hiding within the curtains and it ran across the ceiling and into the air conditioning unit. If the room had been properly cleaned before our arrival this would have been found hiding in the curtains. Staff came immediately which was excellent but it was never found. I struggled to relax due to the fact that I was concerned it would reappear as the air conditioning unit was immediately above the bed and my fear was that it would drop on to the bed whilst we were sleeping. No offer to relocate us was made which I found disappointing. Overall this is a very very good hotel which could be excellent with a few tweaks and greater emphasis on 100% customer satisfaction.
